Sugarcane Bagasse Panel
Agricultural waste turned into CARB-certified board
Dense, smooth panels manufactured from sugarcane bagasse — the fibrous byproduct of sugar processing. Formaldehyde-free MDI resin binder. Machines like MDF; accepts paint, veneer, and laminate. Certified CARB Phase 2 and FSC.

♻️ Sustainability
Uses a crop residue that is otherwise burned in the field, eliminating direct combustion emissions while sequestering carbon in the panel.
Sourcing Story
Where this material came from and how we verified it.
📍 Origin
Manufactured in Louisiana from Gulf South sugarcane harvest residue
Bagasse — the fibrous stalks left after sugar extraction — is typically burned in field piles or used as low-value boiler fuel. This panel captures that material stream before combustion, binding it with an MDI resin (no formaldehyde) into a dense, stable board. Every sheet represents cane processed within 150 miles of the mill.
⚖️ Diversion Impact
~14 lbs
diverted from landfill per 4×8 sheet.
✅ Quality Checks
- Formaldehyde-free binder verified by third-party lab — NAF certified
- CARB Phase 2 compliance documentation included with every shipment
- Density and modulus of rupture tested per ANSI A208.1 on each production lot
- Edge swell tested at 24-hr water soak — max 8% allowed
