Certification support
Sustainable materials claims are easy to make. Credit-ready documentation is the hard part. Here's how the materials in our catalog map to the frameworks your projects are rated against.
Our catalog supports LEED v4 and v4.1 Materials & Resources credits. We provide the documentation architects need for MR Credit: Building Product Disclosure and Optimization — including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), sourcing origin declarations, and recycled content percentages in the LEED-required format.
For BREEAM International projects, we support the Mat 01 (Life Cycle Impacts) and Mat 03 (Responsible Sourcing) categories. Timber products carry FSC or PEFC chain-of-custody documentation. Steel and composite products include recycled content certification and responsible sourcing declarations.
Passive House projects have strict embodied carbon and thermal performance requirements. We stock recycled denim and mineral wool insulation with verified thermal values, FSC structural timber with embodied carbon data, and low-VOC finishes with confirmed off-gassing profiles compatible with the airtight assembly requirements.
LBC's Red List requirements are among the strictest in the industry. Our catalog is audited against the Red List — every FSC timber, low-VOC finish, and bio-composite in our inventory is evaluated for Red List material content. We flag any product with LBC compliance concerns before you specify, not at CA stage.
