Conventional upholstery foam is 100% petroleum. This formulation replaces 35% of the petroleum polyols with soy-based polyols sourced from US farms. CertiPUR-US certification covers the full list of restricted substances — no PBDE flame retardants, no mercury, no lead, no heavy metals.
